This is a superb Jensen Interceptor convertible and a genuine RHD UK supplied 1973 car.

This represents great value and these are sure fire investmants indeed one similar made £85000 at auction last year.

A total of 6,408 interceptors were produced between 1966 and 1976 of which only 509 were convertibles. These cars were designed by Carrozzeria Touring with the bodies being made of steel and, in may 1972, the rhd models had increased their engine capacity to 7212cc. This Interceptor comes with an extensive history file that includes numerous invoices, receipts, old MOT certificates and it also includes the jensen interceptor handbook and convertible supplement along with a workshop manual for the car.

We have a massive file of papers and invoices going back many years and the mileage appears to be correct based on the history we have indeed the car has only covered a few hundred miles in nearly 15 years. This interceptor convertible pulls well and sits well. It really does look the part and sounds fantastic.

This vehicle has clearly been subject to a full restoration in the past it indeed has been in a heated carcoon for several years we are advised prior to coming to us.

We have had the car into our bodyshop and our very experienced bodyshop technician has dealt with minor paint issues and has taken to bare metal the areas treated and painted the roof has been fully cleaned and the car has had a complete high detail polish what is now showing is a striking and stunning example

We have replaced the exhaust manifolds/radiator has been renewed/rocker cover gaskets/new plugs/service kit/various hoses the list goes on totalling c £2000.

We have done various aspects of bare metal paint and spent c 100 hours and over £4000 in doing so.

A great opportunity to get in and buy a very rare convertible indeed.

Prices are sure to rise and at this price it represents great value in the market place.
